This training will allow school districts to create and manage a crisis team that will meet schools individual needs. The training will provide school leaders with the information necessary to create a crisis response team, including:
An overview of crisis response in schools and other settings. Crisis response: an overview of what, why, and ho Recruitment, management and selection of a crisis response team Crisis Team roles and responsibilities Policy and procedure considerations Proper use of a crisis response team Special topics: suicide, homicide, accidental death, trauma reaction, grief reaction,and on-campus incidents.
